A passion for Passifloras

I just love Passifloras and this 'caerulea' is now five years old. It grows through the Forsythia and arches over wires to the shed and fence, attracting bees and hoverflies and producing the most lovely orange fruits.

What a great photo, as always. I've just been catching up on what you've been up to whilst I've been away. I like your 'bug hotel'. I've been meaning to make one myself this year but haven't got round to it yet.
One of my courgette plants has had it too after getting powdery mildew, but I did get some courgettes off it and I've got another plant at the allotment, so I'm hoping for more to come.

They are wonderfully exotic plants, but one that I'm not that keen on! xx

Oh well. Looks like we've all suffered with our courgetttes and agree on liking 'bug hotels'. That's a fair concensus for gardeners! :D
